The idea behind this log is simply the letters we used to write to Santa Claus when we were little. Christophe Michalak wanted to pay tribute to that part of childhood and wonder that lives in all of us. And frankly, it works! This creation transforms dessert into a truly emotional moment to share with the family on Christmas Eve.

When it comes to the composition, the chef doesn't do things by halves. It features a pistachio dacquoise, a Dubai-style pistachio praline crunch (a recurring theme at Michalak!), a pistachio cream, a pistachio praline, a milk chocolate mousse, and a chocolate cream. Pistachio reigns supreme and comes in all its forms for our greatest pleasure.

We tried this log and really loved the roundness of this creation , which is both crispy and creamy. The flavors are sweet without being cloying, perfect for ending a meal on a high note. And above all, it has that delicious taste that makes it hard to stop at just one slice! The contrast between the crispiness and creaminess works wonderfully; it's really well thought out. This log is for foodies looking for a creation that is both nostalgic and in the spirit of Christmas, where each bite tells a story. It costs €95 for 8 people.
