On Saturday, April 4, 2026, the Gallica Richelieu will transform into an extraordinary playground for families, in celebration of Easter. In partnership with Maison Boissier, the National Library of France offers an artistic Easter egg hunt where children are encouraged to uncover clues hidden among 900 works of art. An adventure that combines discovering Paris's cultural treasures with the sweet reward of a chocolate treat nestled within the Galerie Vivienne.
Equipped with a treasure hunt booklet, young explorers will wander through the historic galleries, deciphering riddles hidden among jewelry, globes, and ancient manuscripts. This playful adventure offers a fresh perspective on sometimes awe-inspiring collections, turning the museum into a real-life treasure map. Once the booklet is completed, the quest moves just a few meters to claim the precious prize.
Nestled within the elegant setting of the Boissier boutique in Galerie Vivienne, children will have the chance to exchange their voucher for a lace-patterned chocolate egg. However, be quick: with only 250 eggs up for grabs this year, only the first few to claim their ticket will be served. The ticket sales opening date hasn't been announced yet, so keep an eye on the monument’s website to stay in the loop!
Entry to the BnF Richelieu will be free for visitors under 18, while adults will need to purchase a ticket at €10 to accompany them.
