Can you hear the sound of bells and the rustling of rabbits settling in on the Place de la Défense, nestled between Paris and Hauts-de-Seine? The Easter celebrations are bringing a burst of springtime joy and lightness to the business district. To mark the occasion, a variety of family-friendly activities are scheduled for children and parents on April 1st and 4th, 2026.
Better known for its skyscrapers than its lush parks, the La Défense district still has plenty of hidden surprises. Young adventurers will quickly discover this during the egg hunts organized over the course of these two April days. This traditional Easter activity offers children the chance to have fun, explore the area, and indulge in sweet rewards — thanks to the chocolates they can win at the end of their playful and tasty quest. The egg hunt is completely free and requires no registration.
At La Défense square, children can get hands-on with creative activities by making their own Easter decorations. This workshop (available by reservation) can be paired with another group activity: little ones are invited to decorate the giant Easter egg that has been gracing the square for several days.
Finally, don’t miss the easter bunny stilt-walkers wandering through La Défense: three parades are scheduled at 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM. Kids and adults alike can enjoy these quirky characters and snap photos with them. An unusual outdoor spectacle that promises to be both surprising and entertaining!
