« We're in 1930. You are invited to a prestigious reception hosted by Dr. Sylvestre Charpigny, director of Ferrières Psychiatric Facility. His goal is to persuade wealthy investors to fund a sweeping security overhaul of the institution. He argues the buildings have grown dilapidated and the patients increasingly difficult to manage. But as the reception begins, two police officers burst in. One is pursuing the mystery behind his wife's death, officially recorded as having occurred just weeks earlier within the hospital’s walls.
