Immerse yourself in the capital's underground history at the Musée des Égouts de Paris, a unique venue that takes you behind the scenes of one of the world's oldest and most complex sewer systems. Set in the heart of the active galleries of the Paris sewer system, the museum offers a sensory and educational immersion in historic infrastructures still in operation.

The 45-60 minute tour invites visitors to explore 500 meters of galleries beneath the Quai d'Orsay, near the Pont de l'Alma. These spaces, where the city's wastewater flows daily, bear witness to the technical and social evolution of Paris since the XIXᵉ century.

The museum provides adaptations for people with reduced mobility, with an elevator providing access to the galleries. The constant temperature of 13°C and the characteristic odors of the sewers recall the authenticity of the site.
