Heritage Days thus give us the chance to learn more about this immersive museum located underground. It is here that we discover the essential cleaning and maintenance work carried out in the sewers. The museum also explains the challenges of water regulation and treatment, in service of protecting the environment and the river, while visitors walk above functioning sewers.
It's an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the major challenges facing Parisian sanitation from yesterday to tomorrow, through an unusual visit featuring a museographic tour, models, interactive educational activities and multimedia.
