On the occasion of the 43rd edition of Heritage Days, head to the famous Tower with Figures by Jean Dubuffet, installed in the Hauts-de-Seine, for special tours this weekend of September 19 and 20, 2026.

For this 43rd edition of Heritage Days, you’ll again have plenty of choices and will uncover amazing architectural gems or, for something even more unusual spots, like the famous Figure Tower by Jean Dubuffet. Nestled in the Parc départemental de l’Ile Saint-Germain in Issy-les-Moulineaux, this striking 24-meter-tall sculpture was renovated in 2020 by the Hauts-de-Seine Department.

  • Self-guided visit to the Discovery Space at the Figure Tower

    Discover Jean Dubuffet’s universe, freely accessible to all!

    For a weekend, step through the Discovery Space of the Tour aux figures: a venue open to everyone to better understand this monumental work and the singular world of its creator, Jean Dubuffet.

    Through models, archival images, books and interactive displays, discover the tower’s history, the secrets of its construction, and the stages of its stunning restoration. Kids and adults alike will be able to handle, touch, observe… and marvel.

    A free, interactive way to dive into the imagination of one of the 20th century’s greatest artists!

  • Guided tour of Jean Dubuffet's Tower of Figures

    The fascinating Tour aux figures, a monumental sculpture by Jean Dubuffet, opens its doors for a guided visit that will whisk participants into the artist’s imagined world.

    From exterior lines that evoke bodies and faces to an interior that is an astonishing ascending labyrinth, this colossal work leaves no one indifferent.

    Before or after the visit, a photographic exhibition, informative panels, a video space, and a playful area are available in the Discovery Space to discover or deepen your knowledge of the Tour aux figures and Jean Dubuffet.

    Note: Access to the tower is by irregular steps and may pose difficulties for some visitors (ages 6 and up).

  • Family-friendly tour of Jean Dubuffet's Tour aux Figures (guided visit + workshop)

    The Figure Tower, Jean Dubuffet’s monumental sculpture, opens its doors to families for a guided visit that will plunge participants into the artist’s imagined universe.

    After stepping inside this true monumental work, whose interior unfolds into an astonishing ascending labyrinth, families will take part in a plastic arts workshop linked to the tower.

    Warning: climbing the tower involves uneven stairs and may be challenging for some audiences (ages 6 and up).
