On September 19 and 20, the Yves Saint Laurent Paris Museum—currently closed for renovations—invites you to a guided urban stroll through the heart of Paris.
Dive into the story of SAINT LAURENT rive gauche, a venture that reshaped fashion. On September 26, 1966, Yves Saint Laurent opened the first ready-to-wear boutique at 21 rue de Tournon in Paris’s 6th arrondissement. More than just a new address, it was a bold vision: ready-to-wear crafted with the same creative rigor and couture-level attention as haute couture.
From rue de Tournon to rue Bonaparte, and on to the Cour Carrée of the Louvre where SAINT LAURENT rive gauche fashion shows were staged, let the guide lead you along the traces of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé.
