The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) is one of September's not-to-be-missed events! Every year, this cultural event invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of our most beautiful treasures over an exceptional weekend. Museums, monuments, churches, castles, and even places usually closed to the public , such as ministries, embassies and major institutions, all lend themselves to the game and unveil their programs, often free of charge, of free or guided tours, original events and workshops for young and old alike.
This year, the event returns for its 42nd edition on the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025. For the occasion, a vast program awaits you in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region! And while the City of Light is often the center of attention, the surrounding region has nothing to be ashamed of.
This weekend is the perfect time to explore the region's heritage! In fact, the Val-de-Marne has plenty to surprise you. The town of Arcueil is just one of the places to visit during the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days). Check out the program below!
Workshop - Graphic Arts Museum
Members of the association will be delighted to show you the extensive collection of 19th-century printing presses and tools held by the Musée d'art graphique d'Arcueil. We'll also show you the workshop area where today's works are produced. Our artists will be on hand to explain their work, and we'll show you how a print is made.
Anis Gras
In the heart of a former 19th-century factory, now an artistic laboratory, stroll through Ismaël Hasnaoui's exhibition La nuit (working title).
This exhibition marks a milestone in a process of research into light by artist Ismaël Hasnaoui, which began two years ago, following two residencies - one of three months at L'Abbaye de La Prée, the project of the PQEV association, and the other of four months at Anis Gras - le lieu de l'Autre.
At L'Abbaye de La Prée, Ismaël Hasnaoui's work first focused on the discovery of weaving, then on experiments with light in space, bringing into play the immateriality of the image.
At Anis Gras, the artist continued his experiments with light in the form of hybrid objects, this time involving the materiality of the image.
In addition to the exhibition, visitors can take part in Patrick Fontana and Pierre-Yves Fave's Temps de réaction workshop, which examines our relationship with computers, or enjoy a guided tour of the site (one of which will be interpreted into French as a sign language). The Chœur d'Aventure Henry Poulaille, led by Jean-Christophe Marti, will also be on hand to perform a selection of songs and texts on healthcare and popular medicine, drawn from the archives of writer and collector of proletarian literature Henry Poulaille. (This event will not, however, benefit from LSF interpretation).

In the heart of a former 19th-century factory, now an artistic laboratory, come and discover the work of Pierre-Yves Fave and Patrick Fontana, through their Temps de réaction workshop.
Since 2004, the two artists have been working together, pooling their experiences to discover new digital, poetic, sound and visual territories. Their residency is a time of research/workshop where computers become the subject of study. How is our humanity altered by the place they take in our lives? In response, Temps de réaction talks about friendship.
In addition to this visit, visitors will be able to discover the exhibition La nuit (working title), by artist Ismaël Hasnaoui, or enjoy a guided tour of the site (one of which will benefit from LSF interpretation).
