And, surprise! Some hidden gems reveal themselves during the Heritage Days 2026. Case in point: La Ruche Seydoux. A true artistic oasis nestled in the heart of the 15th arrondissement of Paris, it was built in 1902 by sculptor Alfred Boucher, from materials sourced from the 1900 Universal Exposition.

From its very beginnings, La Ruche has drawn all kinds of artists from around the world! Talents such as Chagall, Modigliani and Soutine found inspiration within its walls. In 1973, as the district was threatened with demolition, the Fondation La Ruche-Seydoux was born, led by Bernard Anthonioz, Geneviève and René Seydoux. Today, près de cinquant e artistes continue to breathe life into this iconic space, continuing Alfred Boucher's vision and keeping it a hub open to all forms of art.
