Your guide will explain how Auguste Perret combined his talents as an architect with the performance of reinforced concrete to design a large-scale religious edifice on a particularly tight budget.
He'll also introduce you to Marguerite Huré's magnificent set of stained glass windows, which adorn the entire wall of the church, flooding it with color. Particular attention will be paid to the ten figurative stained-glass windows designed by Maurice Denis, including the one commemorating the departure of the Marne cabs bound for the Battle of the Ourcq.
