Yes, they're back: the Journées du Patrimoine are back for their 42nd edition, on September 20 and 21, 2025! As always, curious visitors of all kinds will be on hand to enjoy this special event. It has to be said, it's not often you get the chance to visit and appreciate Paris and theÎle-de-France region like this.
Haven't you heard? The Journées du Patrimoine is a huge cultural event, giving us the chance to visit thousands of places. Monuments, museums, churches, parks, theaters... But also buildings usually closed to the public, such as ministries, factories and department stores... Numerous events are planned to reveal the history and secrets of these magnificent places.
During the weekend, we'll also be taking advantage of open-air walks and guided tours, to discover unusual or little-known corners of the city. Enthusiastic visitors take us on a tour of the Père-Lachaise cemetery, the Paris of haute couture, the Montmartre district... Or the port of Javel.
Come and explore the Port de Javel this Sunday, September 21, and learn more about its history, construction and role in the capital's river traffic.
Explore the ports of Javel on the theme of architectural and port heritage.
Discover port facilities, their integration into the landscape and their contribution to the life of the city.
Meeting point on Grenelle Bridge, opposite the Statue of Liberty.
An interesting way to get to know Paris and its sights.
