Heritage Days 2026: Free tour of the private arboretum at Château de Vilmorin (91)

The Heritage Days are back for the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2026! On the agenda, exceptional discoveries across Paris andÎle-de-France, as many sites throw open their doors to curious visitors. For this edition, you’ll be able to explore churches, monuments from all eras, but also places rarely open to the public, which their owners have decided to make more accessible for a brief moment.

It's also a chance to enjoy beautiful walks through nature, especially in the Essonne, in the grounds of the Château de Vilmorin, at the heart of the the private arboretum of the Vilmorin family. A remarkable site that shelters a vast array of rare species from all over the world and stands as a genuine treasure of Verrières’s natural heritage, inextricably linked to the renowned Vilmorin botanist family.

  Take advantage of an exceptional visit to the private arboretum of the Vilmorin family, guided by Nathalie de Vilmorin. This exclusive experience will reveal a remarkable site that shelters a wealth of rare species and stands as a true treasure of the Verrières region's natural heritage.

  Participation requirements: Registration on the Verrières-le-Buisson site only — visit limited to 30 participants — free of charge
