This year, Téléthon’s launch is about generate buzz! On Sunday October 1, 2017, Mannequin Challenges will take place at the same time throughout France by making all Téléthon actors take part in the event: sick people, families, volunteers, organizers, national and domestic sponsors and you of course!
For the record, a Mannequin Challenge consists in filming a crowd frozen in several positions! Here, sick people will move among the participants with their phone camera to record and immortalize the event. Téléthon will broadcast the video live on social networks so be part of it and share it as much as you can!
To do so, on October 1, 2017, head to the Hôtel des Invalides at 11 a.m. to be part of the Mannequin Challenge held at 12 p.m. sharp.
A reception will take place right after the event in the Turenne room during which Paris Téléthon organizer will deliver a speck and present Téléthon 2017.
AFM-Telethon (the French Muscular Dystrophy Association) is an association composed of patients affected by genetic, rare and progressive diseases that lead to heavy handicaps and their families. AFM-Téléthon aims at initiating innovative actions and a strategy of general interest benefiting all rare diseases and disabled persons.
