Published by My de Sortiraparis · Updated on December 6, 2025 at 07:20 a.m.
The 2025 Telethon returns on December 5 and 6 throughout France with a host of solidarity events. In Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region, numerous events are being organized to support research into rare diseases, with Santa as the patron of this 39th edition. Here's a look at the program.

Once again this year, the Île-de-France region is mobilizing to increase the amount of donations. In 2024,Île-de-France raised more than €14 million, with Yvelines leading the pack as the most generous department in the region. On December 5 and 6, 2025, the eight departments of the Paris region are preparing to host thousands of charity events, from simple crêpe stands to the most unusual sporting challenges. It's an opportunity to get together with family and friends while supportingthe AFM-Telethonin its fight against rare genetic diseases. The theme of this 39th edition is "Boost your Telethon - With you, we're making a difference," and it hopes to raise even more donations for the fight against rare genetic diseases. Following in the footsteps of Soprano, Kev Adams, Vianney, and Mika, singer Santa, who won a Victoire de la Musique award in February for her album "Recommence-moi," is taking on the role of patron with all her energy. In 2024, more than €96.5 million was raised thanks to the generosity of the public.

  • Numerous events are planned throughout the department. For a detailed program near you, check out the interactive map from AFM-Telethon.

More than 22,000 events are organized every year throughout France for the Telethon. Village meals, sales, raffles, races, hikes, sports baptisms, concerts, and unusual challenges—there's something for all tastes and all ages. This year, 280,000 volunteers are mobilized to organize events in more than 15,000 municipalities across the country. The interactive map posted online by the AFM-Telethon makes it easy to find an event near you.

On television, France Télévisions is devoting nearly 30 hours of airtime to this charity event, with Santa as its patron. On Friday evening from 9:10 p.m. on France 3, Sophie Davant, Cyril Féraud, and Santa will lead the way in an evening filled with emotion and entertainment. The France Télévisions personalities will highlight powerful life stories alongside researchers and families. The set will be lit up by the musicals of the moment: Notre-Dame de Paris, Black Legends, Les Demoiselles de Rochefort, and the colors of Bollywood. On Saturday, December 6, the campaign continues with several programs, including "Au cœur des labos : faire bouger les lignes" (Inside the labs: pushing the boundaries) at 6:30 a.m. on France 2, followed by "Chanter le monde avec Santa" (Singing the world with Santa) live at 6:50 p.m., where artists and a hundred choir singers will join voices to perform the greatest hits.

There are several ways to make a donation: online on the AFM-Telethon website, by phone on 3637 during the event, by text message by sending "Don" to 92007, or directly at events organized near you. Every euro counts in advancing research into rare genetic diseases and supporting affected families. In 2024, more than €96.5 million was raised, of which €38.9 million was allocated to patient support and €56.1 million to Mission Guérir. Donations are tax deductible up to 66% for individuals and 60% for businesses. This is a wonderful show of solidarity that must be renewed in order to continue making a difference.

In short, it promises to be a weekend of solidarity, rich in emotion and wonderful encounters throughout the Île-de-France region. If you're looking for something to do on this first weekend of December, why not check out the Telethon 2025events nearyou?
