The Pass'Sport program was launched two years ago, to coincide with the start of the 2021-2022 sports and school year. Building on its success, it has been extended again this year, and the number of young people who will be able to benefit from this financial aid is growing! This sports allowance enables children and young people to join a sports club or association, thanks to a 50-euro offer. But it's not for everyone, so find out if you're eligible!
This aid set up by the government is intended to encourage and facilitate the practice of sport among young people, particularly with a view to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Ideal for your child if they want to take up karate or dance this year! Since its creation, the scheme has been used by over two million beneficiaries. For the start of the 2023 school year, it is aimed at young people aged 6 to 17, whose families receive theAllocation de Rentrée Scolaire, as well as 6-20 year-olds who receive theAllocation d'Education de l'Enfant Handicapé.
Young people aged 16 to 30 may also be eligible, if they receive thedisabled adults' allowance, while students under 28 who receive a grant based on social criteria are also eligible! This aid is valid only once, for use before the end of 2023.
Those concerned will receive an e-mail from the Ministry of Sports by the end of August, in which they will be given a code to present at the sportsclub of their choice. Students will have to wait for an e-mail to be sent between September and October to obtain a deduction on the registration fee. However, check that the club you have chosen is a partner of the scheme, on this government card.
