In Paris and the Ile-de-France region, there's plenty to see and do, easily accessible by metro, RER or Transilien. But be careful, because this weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023, work is scheduled on two metro lines, two RER lines and three Transilien lines . So think of alternative solutions to reach the sites and monuments that may be on these famous lines.

METRO LINE 4
On metro line 4, traffic will be interrupted on the entire line on Sunday September 17, 2023 until 12pm due to construction work.
MÉTRO LIGNE 14
On the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023, traffic will be interrupted on the whole of metro line 14 due to construction work. Replacement buses are scheduled between Gare de Lyon and Olympiades.
RER C
On RER line C, major work is also scheduled for the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023. On RER line C, traffic will be interrupted in both directions between Invalides and Juvisy stations, then between Invalides and Massy Palaiseau via Pont de Rungis.
SNCF advises travelers to take the RER D and RER B from Paris to Juvisy, Massy Palaiseau or Massy Verrière. To travel between Invalides and Paris Austerlitz, take metro line 13 to Duroc, then line 10 to Gare d'Austerlitz.
RER D
On Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2023, there will be no trains running between Paris and Melun on the RER D line (Paris Gare du Nord <> Melun). Buses will be provided for the occasion.
TRANSILIEN LINE H
Transilien will also be affected by construction work on the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023. During these two days, traffic will be interrupted on line H between Pontoise and Creil, in both directions, all day long. On the same weekend, no trains run between Ermont-Eaubonne and Persan-Beaumont via Valmondois, again in both directions and all day.
TRANSILIEN LINEJ
On the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023, traffic is also interrupted on Transilien line J between Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Mantes-la-Jolie. Transilien has announced the introduction of replacement buses.
TRANSILIEN LINE P
Finally, beware if you need to use Transilien line P, as the Paris-Est <> Provins route is closed on Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2023. Trains will be replaced by buses between Provins and Tournan.
