New Year's Eve 2025 in Paris: metro stations closed around the Champs-Élysées

However, to ensure the smooth running of this New Year's Eve on the Champs-Élysées, and"for security reasons", several metro and RER stations will not be serving the area around this legendary Parisian avenue this December 31, 2024 afternoon and evening. RATP has announced this on its website.

This will be the case at Charles de Gaulle - Étoile station (RER A, lines 1 and 2). Here, the stop will not be served on December 31st from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. On metro lines 1 and 13, access to Champs-Élysées - Clemenceau station will also be closed this December 31st from 3pm. "Connections in the station will be impossible", explains RATP. The same applies to Concorde station (lines 1, 8 and 12). So be prepared if you're planning to reach the Champs-Élysées avenue to celebrate New Year's Eve 2025 in Paris.
