Nuit Blanche is one of the highlights of the Parisian calendar. For one night, the City of Light becomes more than ever a City of the Arts and is invaded by numerous events, including concerts, exhibitions, installations, performances and other forms of artistic expression, often very surprising. For the occasion, museums, monuments, major institutions and more unusual places are taking turns to unveil a program that promises to make Parisians of a day and of all times experience a moment at the edge of reality.
Originally, this original nocturne took place in the heart of autumn, usually at the beginning of October. A chilly period during which the experience could be somewhat spoiled by a capricious weather and frequent bad weather. This was notably the case during the 19th edition of the Nuit Blanche, in 2021. The City of Paris has therefore launched a consultation with Parisians and Metropolitans so that they can vote for the ideal period to shift this original cultural event. The month of June won out hands down, and so Nuit Blanche was moved to the summer months! Perfect to enjoy a beautiful outdoor program.
This Saturday, June 3, 2023, Parisians of a day and of all times will have for the first time the opportunity to enjoy the Nuit Blanche at the dawn of summer!
