In a press release published on September 14, Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) confirms that trials will start in October 2023, with service scheduled for spring 2024. The mobility authority for the Île-de-France region also takes this opportunity to unveil the names of the 7 future stations due to open in a few months' time as part of the T3b extension.

Three of these new stations will retain the name of the Porte they serve and their connections with metros 1, 2 and 3 and RER lines C and E. They are Porte de Champerret, Porte Maillot and Porte Dauphine. " To help passengers understand and find their way around the network, they will keep their names: Porte de Champerret, Porte Maillot (Palais des Congrès) and Porte Dauphine (Avenue Foch)," explains Île-de-France Mobilités in a press release.

On the other hand, four other stations have been given new names, in tribute to female personalities. " In line with the commitment of Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France region and Île-de-France Mobilités, to promote more and more female figures on the Île-de-France transport network, four new T3b stations have been named after illustrious women ", says IDFM.

The Anna de Noailles station (poetess and novelist) will serve the 16th arrondissement of the capital, at the intersection of boulevard de l'Amiral Bruix and rue Lalo. The Anny Flore (singer and actress) stop will serve Porte des Ternes, the Thérèse Pierre (World War II resistance fighter) station will be located near Porte de Villiers, and the Square Sainte-Odile station will be a stone's throw from Porte de Courcelles.

Finally, the existing Porte d'Asnières station "will be renamed after the pianist Marguerite Long ", announces Île-de-France Mobilités.
