Gourmet competitions come and go in Paris and the Ile-de-France region. After the prize for the best organic bread in Ile-de-France, the trophy for the best pastry in Val-d'Oise and the best pastry in Essonne, now it's time for the 2023 trophy for the best artisan baker in Hauts-de-Seine!
Once again this year, there were many entries. As indicated by the Syndicat des Boulangers du Grand Paris, the awards ceremony was held on October 27 in La Garenne-Colombes. This autumn, the Hauts-de-Seine artisan bakers competing in the " employer " category had to outdo themselves by presenting a traditional baguette, a croissant and a farmhouse loaf. For their part, the artisans competing in the " employee " category had to provide two traditional French baguettes.
So, who takes first place? Who wins the 2023 trophy for the best artisan baker in Hauts-de-Seine? Guillaume Lescellière of Atelier de Courbevoie, in Courbevoie, was the overall winner in the " employer " category.
He was followed by Yann Bernard of Étincelle de Gourmandises, in Châtillon. Finally, Éric Teboul of Chez Meunier, Neuilly-sur-Seine, took third place.
