La Poste has been testing fitting rooms in its offices since the end of 2023, including Paris École Militaire and Paris Trinité. Initially scheduled to run for 6 months, this initiative enables customers to try on the clothes or accessories they receive as soon as they collect their parcel, and, in the event of dissatisfaction, to return the items immediately to the sender.

In light of market trends and the growth of online sales, La Poste is innovating by testing fitting booths in four of its offices from the end of 2023, such as those in Paris École Militaire and Paris Trinité.

The XXL booths, featuring the emblematic design of La Poste's yellow letterboxes, offer users the chance totry on the clothes or shoes they receive, as soon as they collect their parcel. In the event of dissatisfaction, customers can immediately return the items to sender. La Poste facilitates the process by offering free printing of return labels for e-commerce partners, and by providing the necessary packaging materials.

La Poste, responsive to post-Covid e-commerce consumer trends, continues to evolve. Thefitting room experiment, scheduled to run for 6 months, will be re-evaluated in the spring with a view to a possible extension across France. The launch also coincides with the sales period (January 10 to February 6), which will provide an opportunity to gauge the popularity of these new facilities. Over and above their popularity, the cabins offer a practical solution for online shoppers who don't have a pick-up point close to home. A real time-saver!
