4 stops closed for 7 consecutive days. This spring, traffic on the T5 tramway is partially interrupted between Les Cholettes and Garges-Sarcelles stations, due to the renewal of the line's guide rail. We tell you all about it.

This spring, numerous works are disrupting metro traffic, as on lines 2, 5, 11 and 14. But some tramway lines are not spared either. This is particularly true of the T5. This spring, traffic on this famous tramway line, which runs between Marché de Saint-Denis and Garges-Sarcelles, is disrupted. RATP has announced a partial closure of the T5 line for 7 consecutive days.

Specifically, traffic on the T5 will be interrupted from Monday April 15 to Sunday April 21, 2024 inclusive, between Les Cholettesand Garges-Sarcelles stations, in both directions. During this partial closure, the Les Flanades, Paul Valéry, Lochères and Garges-Sarcelles stops will not be served. Les Cholettes station becomes the temporary terminus.

For the duration of this traffic disruption, RATP has announced the introduction of a replacement bus. This will run " at the same times as the tramway, and will serve all closed stations ", explains the Régie autonome des transports parisiens.

This partial closure of the T5 will enable the tramway line's guide rails to be renewed, and the track to be stabilized, " thus ensuring greater travel comfort ", says RATP, pointing out that "the T5 line is prone to guide rail uplift during periods of high heat ".

The company also points out that the work will cause " unavoidable noise pollution " during the day and at night. RATP will do its utmost to limit these inconveniences, and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience caused.
