Traffic disruptions are the order of the day on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. While RER line B was at a complete standstill this morning, as was line K, and while line 7 was also disrupted during the day, it's now the turn of another metro station to close until further notice, causing disruption on two metro lines as the day draws to a close.
Passengers beware: Invalides station is currently closed and therefore unserved, announced RATP on line 8 's official X account. In addition to this line, line 13 is also affected. For the moment, no timetable for a return to normal service has been announced by the Paris transport network.
RATP states that the non-dessert at Invalides station is due to "security measures" taken because of a "demonstration near the station access".
A demonstration by cabs in front of the French National Assembly is taking place today in Paris, in order to counter the lowering of mileage rates for patient transport that the French health insurance scheme wishes to implement, according to our colleagues at actu.fr.
Good luck to you all.
