Bad news for Paris metro users. Due to the Artificial Intelligence Summit currently taking place in Paris, access to the Champs-Élysées - Clemenceau station will be closed on Monday February 10 and Tuesday February 11, 2025, by order of the Préfecture de police.

From February 6 to February 11, 2025, Paris is hosting the " Summit for Action on Artificial Intelligence " . Numerous events " aimed at strengthening international action in favor of artificial intelligence serving the general interest " are being organized in the capital. While the public has already been able to take advantage of scientific days and a cultural weekend, a major international summit is taking place on February 10 and 11 at the Grand Palais, in the capital's 8th arrondissement. Several heads of state are expected to attend, including French President Emmanuel Macron.

In view of this event, the Préfecture de police de Parishas announced the implementation of " security and traffic control measures ". The aim? To ensure "the smooth running of the event and guarantee the safety of people and property ". As a result, traffic and parking restrictions have been imposed on several roads in the 7th, 8th and 11th arrondissements.

But that's not all. Access to Champs-Élysées - Clemenceau station will be closed on Monday February 10 and Tuesday February 11, 2025, by order of the Préfecture de police.

Access to this Paris metro station, located on lines 1 and 13, will be closed for the next two days, and will reopen on the morning of Wednesday February 12.
