Île-de-France: night-time closures planned on the A1 and A3 from May 14 to 23, 2025

Between May 14 and May 23 , 2025,the A1 and A3 freeways, major routes in the Paris region, will be partially closed at night . These restrictions, implemented by the Direction des routes d'Île-de-France(, are linked to the construction of line 17 of the Grand Paris Express, currently underway between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Chennevières-lès-Louvres. Closures are scheduled from 10 pm to 4:30 am.

Which portions are affected?

Two sectors will be closed to traffic:

• On theA1, between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Chennevières-lès-Louvres, in both directions.
• On theA3, between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Paris-Charles de Gaulleairport .

Dates concerned:

• May14th to 15th ,
• May15th to 16th ,
• May19 to 23 .

Possible closures in June

If the work is not completed, further power cuts may be required from June 5 to 6 and from June10 to 13 , at the same times.

Which bypasses to take?

The prefecture recommends several alternativeroutes :

• Via theA104 and N2 at Gonesse, towards Lille.
• In the opposite direction , towards Paris, via Épiais-les-Louvres and Roissy-en-France.
• Via the D317, then the D170.
