This summer, work will resume underground, leading to several disruptions of varying duration on the Paris metro. The aim? To improve train punctuality, optimize comfort and enhance passenger safety. This summer's series of works by RATP and SNCF will also see the arrival of new-generation metro trains. In all, 8 lines in the Paris region will be equipped with these MF19s by 2033, starting with metro line 10. This will be followed by lines 3, 3 bis, 7, 7 bis, 8, 12 and 13.
Line 7, which links La Courneuve - 8 mai 1945 in Seine-Saint-Denis to Mairie d'Ivry and Villejuif - Louis Aragon in Val-de-Marne, will be undergoing work this summer.
So, what can we expect? In all, 14 stations on line 7 will be closed to passengers, for a period of one week. In detail, traffic on line 7 will be interrupted from July 18 to 24, 2025 between La Courneuve - 8 mai 1945 and Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette.
For the duration of the work, La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945, Fort d'Aubervilliers, Aubervilliers - Pantin - Quatre Chemins, Porte de La Villette, Corentin Cariou, Crimée, Riquet, Stalingrad, Louis Blanc, Château-Landon, Gare de l'Est, Poissonnière, Cadet and Le Peletier stations will be inaccessible. As for Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette station, it will become the temporary terminus from July 18 to 24, 2025, for passengers arriving from the south of the line.
To keep users moving, replacement buses will be in place between La Courneuve - 8 mai 1945 and Stalingrad.
