If you live on line 12, it would be a good idea to take your vacation during the week of July 16 to 26, 2026! Why? Like every year, the RATP is taking advantage of a less crowded capital and Parisians on summer vacation to carry out numerous works, and this year is no exception! Major construction projects are in the works on manymetro lines in the heart of Paris!
For those who continue to work and even for tourists, it will therefore be necessary to juggle between line closures for several weeks, on entire sections. One of the main reasons for this is the gradual change in rolling stock, with new trains due to arrive in the coming years. This is the case on line 12, which must prepare for the future arrival of the MF19.
Normally running between Mairie d'Aubervilliers and Mairie d'Issy, the line will be completely closed between Concorde and Jules Joffrin formore than a week, from July 16 to 26, 2026, i.e., ten days. This will result in the closure of six stations, so passengers are advised to use other lines, in particular lines 13 and 14, to travel instead of the closed section, but this cuts off the entire northern section of the rest of the capital, including the Saint-Lazare station.
In addition, closures from 10 p.m. are expected four times a month. Please note that replacement buses will run during this period.
