Every year, the Parismetro network continues to evolve. But to do so, it is necessary to carry out some work from time to time, and what better time than the summer, when Parisians leave the capital for sunnier destinations, to interrupt a few lines! The RATP has planned numerous closures, with four metro lines affected, including line 13.
For this line, which is more or less appreciated by Parisian users, traffic will be interrupted in the north of the capital, between Saint-Denis Université and Porte de Saint-Ouen for 18 days, from July 31 to August 17, 2026, due to the future automation of the line and the renewal of track equipment. These are not the only works being carried out this summer 2026, as trains will not serve the Porte de Vanves station from August 6 to 9, 2026 inclusive, and the entire line will be closed on Sunday mornings on August 2, 16, and 30.
While the latter two will not have too much of an impact on passengers, residents of Seine-Saint-Denis who regularly use line 13 will have to find alternatives in the meantime!
