But beware, if you're planning to take public transport, you'll need to be on the lookout for planned disruptions on RATP lines. Some stations may be closed due to construction work. On some lines, traffic may be interrupted and service may cease earlier than usual. Since prevention is better than cure, we take a look at the disruptions expected on the public transport network in Paris and the Île-de-France region. Metro, RER, Tram or Transilien, here's what to expect on Thursday May 29, 2025.

Public transport disruptions in Paris and the Île-de-France region this Thursday, May 29, 2025

On RER lines:

RER A : - from 22:00, traffic will be interrupted between Maisons-Laffitte and Cergy - Le Haut due to roadworks. Replacement buses will be provided at Sartrouville.

RERC : - from 11:30pm until late evening, traffic will be interrupted between Paris Austerlitz and Brétigny. Last train from Paris Austerlitz to Brétigny at 10.45pm. Last train from Brétigny to Paris Austerlitz at 22h18. Replacement buses will be provided.

- From May 29th to June 1st, until 5pm, no trains will run between Brétigny - Saint-Martin d'Étampes and Juvisy et Dourdan. Replacement buses will be provided.

RER D: - from 11.20pm, traffic will be interrupted between Paris Gare du Nord and Creil. A replacement bus service will be provided to intermediate stations.

- from 11:35pm: Traffic is interrupted between Combs-la-Ville and Melun. A replacement bus service is in place, serving intermediate stations.

- from 10.45pm: Traffic is interrupted between Nanterre-la-Folie and Chelles Gournay. The last NOCY train from Chelles Gournay to Nanterre-la-Folie is at 22h33. The last CONY train from Nanterre-la-Folie to Chelles Gournay is at 10.38pm on weekdays and 10.49pm at weekends. A replacement bus service is available to intermediate stations: - From Chelles Gournay to Paris Gare de l'Est, - From Paris, take metro line 5 to Bobigny Pablo Picasso, from where buses leave for Chelles Gournay.

On Transilien lines:

Line J
: - from 9.40pm: traffic is interrupted between Paris Saint-Lazare <> Mantes la Jolie via Poissy. A replacement bus service has been set up between Sartrouville <> Les Mureaux and Sartrouville <> Mantes la Jolie, serving intermediate stations. To reach Houilles Carrières sur Seine, Sartrouville and Poissy stations, we recommend you take the RER A towards Poissy. Reinforcement of regular bus services: - Express A14 between La Défense <> Mantes la Jolie. Last trains to run normally: - Paris Saint-Lazare to Mantes la Jolie via Poissy: 9:47pm - Mantes la Jolie to Paris Saint-Lazare via Poissy: 9:43pm. The last two trains from Paris Saint-Lazare to Mantes la Jolie via Conflans Sainte-Honorine terminate at Issou Porcheville station with a replacement bus service.

Line K : - In the evening,traffic is interrupted between Paris Gare du Nord and Crépy-en-Valois. Departure of the last KEPY train from Paris Nord to Crépy-en-Valois: 8.13pm. Replacement bus between Mitry Claye and Crépy-en-Valois.

- From May 29 to June 1, traffic will be interrupted between Gare du Nord and Mitry - Claye due to roadworks.

Line L: - From 10pm: Traffic is interrupted between Bécon les Bruyères <> Nanterre Université / Maisons-Laffitte. A replacement bus service will be provided.

Ligne N: - From 9:30pm, traffic is interrupted from Paris Montparnasse to Mantes-la-Jolie, with a replacement bus service from Plaisir Grignon to intermediate stations.

- from 9pm, traffic is interrupted between Paris Montparnasse and Dreux. A replacement bus service is in place

Line P: - from 10.20pm,
traffic is interrupted between Paris Est and Meaux. The last PICI train from Meaux to Paris-Est is at 9.50pm. The last MICI train from Paris-Est to Meaux is at 22h31. A replacement bus service has been set up, serving intermediate stations.

- from 10:00 pm,traffic is interrupted between Paris Est and Château-Thierry. The last PIMO train from Château-Thierry to Paris Est is at 9.04pm. The last ZIMO train from Paris Est to Château-Thierry is at 9.49pm. A replacement bus service has been set up, serving intermediate stations. An additional bus has been added at 10.20pm from Paris Est, running as an omnibus to Château-Thierry.

Ligne R: - from 11.35pm until the last train:Ligne R trains are diverted via Corbeil-Essonnes, so expect journey times to be extended by around 30 minutes.

On tramway lines:

T2
: -Traffic is interrupted between Porte de Versailles and Suzanne Lenglenendue to major modernization work.
To reach Porte de Versailles from Suzanne Lenglen, walk to Balard station on T3a.
