Bals des pompiers 2025 in Paris: parking and traffic bans

It's one of the most festive days of the summer in France! The Fête Nationale is once again set to thrill the hearts of many a Frenchman, with its popular balls, parade, republican picnics, concerts and fireworks displays. In Paris, the festivities are sure to include a military parade, a grand concert on the Champ-de-Mars and the traditional fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower.

Before that, Parisians will be able to dance the night away at the famous firemen's balls scheduled at several of the capital's fire stations, including those in Paris Centre, the 6th, 7th, 9th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th districts.

But to ensure the smooth running of these events and the safety of those expected to attend, the Paris Prefecture de Police has issued a decree modifying traffic and parking regulations in the vicinity of these centers on Saturday July 12, Sunday July 13 and Monday July 14, 2025. In detail, the parking of all types of vehicles is prohibited in the following lanes and portions of lanes and on the dates and times indicated below:

MONTMARTRE RESCUE CENTER

• Rue Eugène Carrière, between rue Lamarck and rue Marcadet, Paris 18e, from 5pm on July 12 to 6am on July 13, 2025.

BOURSAULT RESCUE CENTER

• Rue Boursault, between rue de la Condamine and rue des Dames, Paris 17th district, from 10 a.m. on July 13 to 6 a.m. on July 14, 2025.

BITCHE RESCUE CENTER

• Place de Bitche, at N°2, Paris 19e, from July 12 at 8 a.m. to July 14, 2025 at 12 p.m.
• Quai de l'Oise, between Place Bitche and Rue de Joinville, Paris 19e, from July 12 at 8am to July 14, 2025 at 12pm.

MASSENA RESCUE CENTER

• Rue Darmesteter, N°2 to N°12, Paris 13e, from 6pm on July 13 to 5am on July 14, 2025.

ROUSSEAU RESCUE CENTER

Also note that the direction of traffic on rue de Joinville, in the 19th arrondissement, is reversed from 8am on July 12 to 12pm on July 14, 2025. Lastly, the section of rue Rambuteau between rue Coquillière and boulevard de Sébastopol in central Paris will be " deadlocked " from 6 p.m. on July 12 to 5 a.m. on July 13, 2025.
