"Céline Dion" and "Paris, I’m ready": that’s what some Parisians caught a glimpse of on the Eiffel Tower in the night from Sunday to Monday. This is what our colleagues at BFMTV reported on March 30. As the 24/7 news channel notes, rehearsals took place that night in connection with the potential return of Céline Dion. In this video, the iconic Iron Lady is seen lighting up, notably in white and blue. Further according to BFMTV, the messages "Céline Dion" and "Paris, I’m ready" appeared at the very end of the show. Meanwhile, Paris Match notes that the hit "My Heart Will Go On" was broadcast for the occasion on the Champ de Mars esplanade. A clear message pointing to a possible future residency of Céline Dion in the capital.
Since March 23, billboards have flooded the streets of Paris. All of them reference the iconic songs of the Quebec star, such as Pour que tu m’aimes encore, My Heart Will Go On, and Power of Love.
On her side, Céline Dion took to social media last Monday to share vintage Paris photos, accompanied by the cryptic line: “I don’t know how to tell you.” Since then, the Canadian star has deleted the posts and is gearing up for a major announcement this Monday, March 30, her 58th birthday. Céline Dion could be about to officially reveal a return to the stage with a run of concerts at Paris La Défense Arena. Rumors suggest the announcement could drop at 9 p.m., French time. France 2 has scheduled a briefing for its viewers at 9:05 p.m. Monday. We should soon learn more about the Parisian concert dates and when tickets go on sale.
Many still remember the extraordinary performance by Céline Dion that lit up the summer of 2024 in Paris. On July 26, the singer performed "L’Hymne à l’Amour" from the first level of the Eiffel Tower during the Olympic opening ceremony. The tower pays its thanks in kind, with a special illumination that signals her big return to Paris.
