Science Festival 2026 in Paris and Île-de-France hospitals: the program

The Science Festival runs from October 2–12, 2026! This event, launched in 1991 by the ministry in charge of Research, invites the curious to engage with science through encounters with researchers, but above all through workshops and activities for the whole family, to make knowledge accessible to everyone and spark interest among the youngest. For this 35th edition, Paris and the Île-de-France region will host numerous events around a theme, "Savory Science", exploring food, taste, and health.

And when health is on the agenda, hospitals come into play... In Paris, the city’s health facilities are plentiful and invite Parisians, both locals and visitors, to take part, during the Fête de la Science, in a range of workshops tied to the edition’s theme. La Pitié-Salpêtrière, Lariboisière, Saint-Louis, Hôtel-Dieu... A great way to learn more about health and the human body!
