Why not take advantage of this special evening to explore the Lambinet Museum, which has just reopened to the public? This museum, dedicated to the history of Versailles, offers an impressive collection of artworks spanning from the Renaissance to the mid-20th century.
Inside a stunning private mansion showcasing the quintessential Rococo architecture, visitors wander through a collection of sculptures, paintings, furniture, and decorative objects that evoke the glamour of old Versailles. Among the treasures on display is a harp crafted by the renowned luthier of Queen Marie-Antoinette, François-Joseph Naderman.
A true collectors' house, in a city that played a key role in France's history!
Have fun solo or with friends trying to spot the hidden intruders disguised within the museum reproductions of famous artworks.
Led by a facilitator, visitors create posters of the Saint Louis neighborhood’s landmarks inspired by the artworks featured in the exhibition.
A museum guide will welcome you in the galleries to discuss the artworks from the permanent collection and explore the themes of the exhibit "If Saint-Louis Were My Story."
Nanja Breedijk, soloist and professor at the Versailles Grand Parc Regional Conservatory, will bring the Golden Salon to life with the soothing sounds of the Naderman harp. It will be a wonderful opportunity to engage with her about early harps and the repertoire of the classical era.
