Each year in spring, the Night of Museums offers an exceptional late-night dive into the heart of our cultural treasures. For one evening, passionate enthusiasts and the curious alike are invited to rediscover our museums through a broad programming of visits—often free—that comes with special events, including concerts, workshops, or even unusual activities.
A fantastic cultural pick you can enjoy with family, with friends, as a couple, or even solo! On this occasion, Paris and the entire Île-de-France region reveal, with each edition, so many outing ideas that it’s hard not to find a lineup that lives up to your passion!
It’s also a chance to discover the treasures of the Île-de-France region. In the heart of the Yvelines, the Victor Aubert Museum in Maule joins the lineup for this exceptional night. This that invites us into the history of the town and its surroundings sits at the heart of the remnants of a priory whose origins go back to 1076. There still survive a 13th‑century wine cellar and a 14th‑century roof framework.
Today, visitors can explore collections that trace the history of the town of Maule from prehistory to the High Middle Ages, while also highlighting local folk traditions and rural life in the region during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
