Music Day 2026: Pink Floyd tribute in a Val-d'Oise town

Saint-Prix celebrates Music Day on Sunday, June 21, 2026. For the occasion, this Val-d'Oise commune will host a Pink Floyd tribute concert, performed by the cover band Charade Breeze Bend.

Attention music fans! The Fête de la Musique is rolling out across France on Sunday, June 21, 2026, for another edition that’s just as festive and welcoming!

But what exactly is the Fête de la Musique? Once a year, on June 21 (the day of the summer solstice), this free, popular musical event invites all musicians, amateurs of all levels and professionals alike, to celebrate living music and showcase the breadth and diversity of musical practices and genres (rock, hip-hop, rap, electro, classical, jazz, blues, reggae...).

Created by the Ministry of Culture in 1982, the Fête de la Musique has since spread abroad, becoming a national event in several countries, from Luxembourg and Italy to Greece, Peru and Colombia. Over the years, the festival has learned to innovate and reinvent itself, turning into an emblematic occasion that people look forward to every June 21.

Sunday, June 21, 2026, the top music picks are once again shaping up to be plentiful in Paris and across Île-de-France, including in Saint-Prix. This town in the Val-d’Oise region once again joins the Fête de la Musique, hosting a major concert in the heart of the Parc de l’Hôtel de Ville, starting at 8 p.m.

On the menu? Two hours of free outdoor concert time in homage to Pink Floyd! For the occasion, catch the Charade Breeze Bend. This tribute band to the legendary British group features a vocalist, a guitarist, a drummer, a bassist and a keyboardist. Together, they’ll transport audiences into the 70s’ rock-infused, dreamy universe, revisiting the decade’s cult albums—from The Dark Side of the Moon to The Wall—along with other essential tracks from the British trio.
