In the 19th arrondissement, not far from the Villette basin, the Jean Jaurès Gym welcomes the neighborhood’s sports clubs and associations, including practitioners of aikido, boxing, savate and capoeira. These are sports less common in Paris, but truly captivating! Almost as much as the artistic event that will take over the gym for the Saturday evening of June 6, 2026.
Yes, for one evening - or rather, one night - the Jean Jaurès gymnasium is transformed into an art gallery. The Nuit Blanche is back in Paris, and as every year, it attracts hundreds of artists and curious onlookers, turning the capital into a giant art center. The four corners of the city are invaded by exhibitions, performances, installations, concerts, shows and unique encounters...
This year's 25th Nuit Blanche edition is no exception, as the Jean Jaurès gymnasium shelves its usual activities for the great delight of contemporary art lovers. A quirky, magical night awaits in this bastion of sport and well-being. Here’s a short preview of what awaits you on the evening of June 6 in Paris.
Performance, Installation

At the heart of a vortex of winds and fog from a setup of fans and smoke machines, the public is invited to enter this zone of temporary insubordination where a TORNADE erupts. Half-dressed in the storm, it’s a ritual of unpredictability designed to reclaim the powerful joy of an incarnating freedom from dogmas of every kind that claim to govern our behavior, our bodies, and our desires.
Élodie Ségui Abd El Kader develops a transversal practice as a director and scenographer. She first conceives a scenographic mechanism using modular, reusable tools. She thus creates shows, installations, performances, concerts, meals, parties, objects, and exhibitions.
Performances at 10pm; 11pm; midnight; 1am.
