During each Olympiad, the Olympic rings are installed on an emblematic monument of the city in which they are located. In Paris, it's the Eiifel Tower that will soon house them, between the first and second floors.

During the London 2012 Olympic Games, the five giant Olympic rings were installed on Tower Bridge. For this Olympiad in Paris, an emblematic monument of the capital will host the blue, yellow, black, green and red rings. According to Le Parisien, it's the Eiffel Tower, a logical decision given that the Iron Lady is a much-loved symbol of Paris for tourists.

A few weeks before the start of the competition, which takes place from July 26, 2024, the rings will be placed high up, around 60m above the ground, between the first and second floors, so that they are clearly visible to all, on this 324m-high monument. These massive Olympic rings, 29m wide by 15m high, were made by ArcelorMittal from recycled steel and manufactured in France.

The Eiffel Tower is an essential element of these Paris 2024 Olympic Games, present on the Olympic and Paralympic medals , but also inside, since a piece of the monument is included! It will also take part in the Opening Ceremony, host the beach volleyball events, and be part of the landscape behind the Champions Park fan zone at Trocadéro, where the medallists will be in contact with the public.
