Berluti signs French Olympic & Paralympic Team Opening Ceremony outfits

After the Olympic & Paralympic Medals designed by Chaumet and the Medal and Torch Trunks fashioned by Louis Vuitton, it's now the turn of the French Team's ceremonial wardrobe to be unveiled ... During the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, the athletes will wear outfits made by Berluti, a member of the LVMH group and a premium partner of Paris 2024. A perfect marriage of high-flying craftsmanship and sporting prestige.

Berluti, the flagship of French (and Italian) fashion since its foundation in Paris in 1895, has once again distinguished itself by associating itself with the Paris 2024 Games. Working in partnership with key players in the French Olympic movement, Berluti has designed a series of elegantly French pieces, then launched production in its Italian workshops.

Collaboration with the athletes themselves, as well as with influential fashion figures such as stylist Carine Roitfeld, has resulted in 1,500 outfits that are both comfortable and sophisticated, adapted to every body type and every moment of the ceremony. The tuxedos, cut from midnight-blue wool, will feature a shawl collar sublimated by a patina motif in the colors of the French flag. Underneath, athletes wear white shirts made from a blend of cotton and silk. As for the women, they can choose between a pair of banded pants and a silk wrap skirt.

All will be wearing the emblematic Shadow sneaker, revisited in the colors of France, although women can also opt for the Lorenzo, the House's supple moccasin.
