Mamma Mia! in cinema-karaoke: the last showings of L'Écran Pop at the Grand Rex

Mamma Mia! returns to the Grand Rex on October 26 and 27, 2026 for the two final Paris screenings announced by L’Écran Pop. The musical featuring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried and Pierce Brosnan is shown in its original version: dialogues with French subtitles and the English songs displayed in karaoke mode.

Unsurprisingly, at the last Mamma Mia! karaoke screenings, the Grand Rex was sold out. Audiences had indeed turned out in droves to discover the L'Ecran Pop evenings. Some unreserved spectators were even turned away at the entrance, so full was the hall.

For those who haven’t heard of L’Ecran Pop, this concept draws from the Anglo-Saxon Sing Along tradition. L’Ecran Pop therefore offers a truly immersive, joyous, song-filled experience around musicals, all in an exceptional venue: the Grand Rex in Paris. The film chosen is shown with, in addition to French subtitles, the lyrics of the English songs, just like at a karaoke session. Audiences can (re)live on the big screen the iconic Mamma Mia! musical and sing at the top of their lungs thanks to a karaoke-style subtitling.

The screening is also preceded by live shows with games and challenges! Don’t hesitate to come in costume, embodying your favorite characters, in your best 70s outfits with the 70s flair.

Mamma Mia! is also part of the dance party program launched by Ecran Pop.
