Doraemon ventures away from the surface to dive into the depths in Doraemon and the Submarine Castle, now playing in theaters since October 7, 2026. Directed by Tetsuo Yajima, this Japanese animated feature is recommended for viewers aged 8 and up by its distributor Eurozoom.
The blue robot cat from the future lives with Nobita, a boy who solves problems with his gadgets. To shake off the summer boredom, he invites his friends to camp beneath the sea. Their expedition leads them to a sunken wreck and the Thalassians, before the awakening of an underwater fortress threatens Earth.
This adventure brings to life the world of Fujiko F. Fujio, with a screenplay by Isao Murayama. The French-language version notably casts Emmanuel Curtil as Doraemon, Brigitte Lecordier as Nobita, and Donald Reignoux as Aël.
The film runs for 1h41, according to Eurozoom's listing. Its trailer introduces the characters, their gear, and the marine world they discover.
