Are you a fan of the open-air cinema that takes place every year at La Villette? The town of Montrouge also organizes its own summer version of the seventh art. Ideal for those who live south of the capital and aren't keen on driving all the way across Paris to see a film! Screenings take place every Thursday evening, from July 20 to August 24, 2023, at 9:00 p.m., or 7:00 p.m. for immersive evenings. What's more, they're free!
For this new edition, the theme is"dance and sport", with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in sight! How does open-air cinema work? For each film, around 200 deckchairs are set up on the square chosen for the occasion. So plan to come early, as seating is limited. Everyone is welcome to bring their own snacks or picnics.
And it's Montrougians who vote for the films shown! For even more fun, the town is organizing three immersive evenings in partnership with"The Magic cinéma", to travel between culinary delights, exhilarating dances or sports initiations and original music linked to the film.
