Le Louxor cinema invites you to a very special event this autumn. For 3 days, from September 20 to 22, 2025, the 10th arrondissement cinema will be hostingAcid (l'Association du Cinéma Indépendant pour sa Diffusion).
Acid was created to support the distribution of independent films, and returns to Cannes each year with its own batch of young directors. At the Cannes Film Festival, Acid has had its own parallel program since 1993, put together by some 15 of the association's filmmakers.
This year, they have selected 9 films for the Cannes 2025 Festival, with the usual focus on films without distributors. Among them are Sepideh Farsi's deeply moving Put your Soul on your Hand and Walk and Lucio Castro's wonderful Drunken Noodles.
