As the Un Certain Regard section unveils its winners at the end of Cannes 2026, the full feature-film competition will be staged in Paris, at the L'Arlequin cinema, from May 27 to June 2, 2026—and very likely at MK2 Quai de Seine on similar dates, as in previous years.
Un Certain Regard forms the core of the official selection, alongside the official competition, and spotlights singular, original works in both concept and visuals. While six prizes were handed out by the selection jury, it is the 19 films of the Un Certain Regard selection that will be revealed in a week-long avant-premiere at L'Arlequin.
Note that those accredited to the Cannes Film Festival 2026 can pick up their free pass on the day of the screening. Don’t miss a look at the full slate of showings on the L'Arlequin site — and on the MK2 Quai de Seine site, if the 19th‑arrondissement venue also announces a revival of Un Certain Regard in theaters.
This year as well, for the second consecutive year, the Un Certain Regard selection can be found at Pathé Convention, starting from June 10, 2026. And the following week, from June 17, it will be Pathé Les Fauvettes presenting, for the first time, a lineup of films from Cannes Classics.
