James Cameron is back in the spotlight with the theatrical re-release of his blockbuster Avatar: The Water Way. This sequel to the hugely successfulAvatar will be shown exclusively in cinemas for one week, giving audiences the chance to rediscover Pandora in 3D before the release of the third opus scheduled for the end of the year. Avatar: The Water Way will be released in 3D theaters for an exceptional week from October 1 to 7, 2025. The film has also been available on Disney+ since February 9, 2025.
Synopsis: Set over a decade after the events of the first film, AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER tells the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the trials they face, the paths they must take to protect each other, the battles they must fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
