Jurassic World: The World After(Jurassic World: Dominion) is a sci-fi action film directed by Colin Trevorrow, released in 2022, which concludes the Jurassic World trilogy. This blockbuster reunites the stars of the new generation, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, with the emblematic figures of the first Jurassic Park saga, including Laura Dern. This third opus transposes the conflict between humans and dinosaurs to a global scale, in a universe where prehistoric creatures now coexist with mankind. TF1 is showing the film in the first half of the evening.
Jurassic World: The World After is broadcast on TF1 on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 11:20 pm.
Discover the trailer for the latest chapter in the Jurassic World saga, with dinosaurs, suspense and large-scale confrontations.
Synopsis: Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs now share the planet with humans. This fragile balance calls into question man's supremacy on Earth, as unprecedented threats emerge from a world where ancestral predators and modern civilization coexist.
This film will appeal to fans of spectacular blockbusters and those nostalgic for the Jurassic Park franchise launched in 1993. By reuniting iconic characters from the original trilogy - such as Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Alan Grant(Sam Neill) and Ian Malcolm(Jeff Goldblum) - with the heroes of the recent trilogy, Jurassic World: The World After aims to meet the expectations of several generations of viewers. Fans of films such as Godzilla vs. Kong and The Lost World may also find something to enjoy.
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, already behind the first Jurassic World, this latest installment combines live action, digital special effects and animatronics. Filming took place between 2020 and 2021, under strict sanitary conditions due to the pandemic. The story is more global than in previous films, with varied settings around the world and an ambition to conclude the narrative arcs developed since 2015. The film also explores the ecological and ethical issues surrounding species cohabitation.
Now airing on TF1, Jurassic World: The World After allows audiences to rediscover an ambitious final chapter combining science fiction, dinosaurs and large-scale adventure. Featuring an intergenerational cast, this film will appeal to fans and newcomers alike. It concludes the Jurassic World trilogy while paying tribute to the universe imagined by Michael Crichton and brought to the silver screen by Steven Spielberg.
