We also find Anouk Grinberg(Deception, The Night of the 12th) and Noémie Merlant(Portrait of a Girl on Fire, The Olympics, Jumbo) in the cast.

Our review of The Innocent:

For the first time, after three films shot in Paris, Louis Garrel took his cameras to Lyon, to shoot L'Innocent. In addition to changing settings, the director changes his register and turns to pure situational comedy, zany and rocambolic. Successful bet, the feature film is often hilarious and presents a gallery of characters as well characterized as interpreted. The supporting characters are delightful, with Noémie Merlant in the lead, who plays one of her best roles, in spite of a total misuse.

Above all, the main tandem, formed by Louis Garrel and Roschedy Zem works. Thanks to the chiseled dialogues, their rhythm is jubilant and the laughs are flying. L'Innocent is a delightful film, and the icing on the cake is that the music is judiciously used and offers scenes that are often memorable.
