We had to wait to see it, but episode 8 of season 3 of The Mandalorian finally reveals what we wanted to see since the beginning, and what we were promised, crazy action with all the Mandalorians. Arrived on Mandalore in the previous episode, the big team was expected by Moff Gideon and his henchmen, so it's time for the final confrontation for the takeover of the planet from the Mandalorians.
And this confrontation is visually impressive, cool, and reminds the essence of Star Wars, with Moff Gideon in the new armor, which reminds a lot of Darth Vader. In short, the story is finally moving forward, and the ending is already acting as a roadmap for the upcoming season 4. So it's time to make an assessment. What is this season 3 worth?
Well, not much... The episodes followed each other without any flavor, and each chapter had absolutely nothing to do with the previous one. The scenario went a bit in all directions and it clearly lacked a red thread and stakes to this new adventure. We hope that the next one will be a bit better, or else the fans might lose interest in Din Djarin and Grogu. The latter is very much in the background in this season, acting more as a prop, a mascot, rather than a real driver of the action.
