UGC cinemas celebrate 100 years of Warner Bros this summer 2023

This summer, UGC is celebrating the centenary of Warner Bros. Studios with a special program for moviegoers. From June 7 to August 29, a selection of 100 Warner studio masterpieces will be shown in 20 UGC cinemas across France, including 9 in the Ile-de-France region. The aim is to give as many people as possible the chance to see these masterpieces again and again on the big screen, at the affordable price of €8.50 a ticket.

The event will be punctuated by highlights and exclusive encounters, including masterclasses, debates, concerts and exhibitions. Film and media personalities will join the celebration, adding to the excitement surrounding this unique initiative.

At the heart of the celebration is theUGC Ciné Cité Les Halles, the world's largest cinema in terms of admissions. From June 7 to August 29, it will be showing one film a day - a total of 84 masterpieces. Special evenings will be organized, such as the launch party on June 7 with the screening of Christopher Nolan'sInception, presented by Olivier Snanoudj (Senior Vice President Warner France) and Patrice Le Marchand. In addition to these major events, artist Quentin DMR, curated by Céline Lereboure for Bandy Bandy Art Agency, will create an original work of art to be exhibited throughout the summer.

In addition,UGC Ciné Cité Bercy is organizing a number of exceptional retrospectives, including one of"Lord of the Rings" on June 24, and one dedicated to Christopher Nolan from July 16 to the end of the summer. This milestone anniversary will also be celebrated across France, with 18 other UGC cinemas offering special evenings every Saturday and Sunday. Finally, to round off this summer celebration, the "Le Directeur fait son cinéma" event will be repeated from July 30 to August 20.

All in all, the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. is an opportunity for UGC to celebrate the heritage of cinema, and to offer French cinephiles a summer rich in discovery and emotion.
