The first images of"Blue Giant" are sublime, in the trailer for the adaptation of the best-selling manga. The film is due in cinemas on March 6, and promises a fine musical spectacle.
In France, the ten volumes of the manga are available from Editions Glénat, and give us a Shonen-style view of jazz. The feature-length film was a great success at the Annecy festival, where it was presented in 2023, and now arrives in cinemas to enchant the beginning of March.
After attending his first jazz show, Dai decides to change his life overnight. As if hypnotized by this music he knows nothing about, the young student decides to devote himself body and soul to the saxophone, and makes jazz his new passion. Will he succeed in becoming a great musician?
